The Committee felt that over the past year, the Club Manager’s role had diverged too far from that of purely administrative support. At the April meeting, the committee formed the view that a change of direction was necessary. To that end, the Committee terminated the services of the Club Manager. Klaus von zum Hof had held the position of Club Manager for the past two years. We thank Klaus for his contribution over that time and wish him well in all his future endeavours. We now have our new toilets/showers up and running, and we expect the new kitchen to be completed in the next couple of weeks, and normal operations can be resumed. The complexity of the project given the requirements for installation of new security monitoring for our gun room, compliance with building regulations for disabled access and other issues encountered along the way such as white ant damage to the building frame, and delays from suppliers made the project longer than any of us anticipated.
