			<title>New Bullet Traps Installed</title>
			<link>http://melbourneinternational.org.au/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=217&amp;Itemid=76</link>
<description> A recent addition to the 50M electronic range has been the installation of new bullet traps. Our thanks to Richard Lightfoot Kris of Hekate Engineering and
Maintenance who worked on the project over the last few months. Lead
collection on the 50m range has been a source of concern for the club
since the Commonwealth Games which left the range with a sand trap that
meant lead collection was to be a costly exercise. At a cost of
approximately $22K, the bullet traps will enable the club to better
manage lead collection, as well as reducing phantom shot incidents on
the electronic targets by reducing splashback from the pre-existing
baffles.
