Clubhouse Redevelopment Sub-Committee

The committee has decided to assemble a working group to develop the project and that expressions of interest be sought from members who may wish to participate on this group This group would be responsibile for developing the club re-design in the first instance. We are seeking members primarily who have architectural, planning, finance or major project management experience to participate, however applications from all club members will be considered. Expressions of interest and questions may be directed to Kim Frazer (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). Please include a brief outline detailing your experience, how much time you are able to commit and any other relevant information by March 31, 2010.

The clubhouse redevelopment program will be a major undertaking for the club. Concept designs have been circulated and have generated a lot of comment, but now there needs to be discussion and consultation to bring a redevelopment to fruition. In brief, the redevelopment, in whatever form it eventually takes, needs to incorporate imporvements to the kitchen, gun room storage, club room ambience/furnishings, lighting, outdoor bbq/entertainment area and improvements to toilet/shower facilities.Consideration should also be given to enabling segregation of clubroom areas for multiple users (e.g. security groups/club members/family members utilising the facility at the same time), and to meeting the needs of members who use the clubroom outside canteen opening hours.
